This website displays recall and service campaign information issued on or after January 1, 2011. Campaigns issued prior to July 10, 2019 may include limited information. This VIN search tool contains information for vehicles purchased and serviced in Canada only. For more complete information about your vehicle, please contact your preferred authorized Mazda Retailer.

RECALL FAQS

A vehicle or component may be recalled to address a defect related to safety, emissions, regulatory compliance, or customer satisfaction. If Mazda identifies an issue affecting your vehicle, you may be notified of a recall or other service campaign and advised on how the issue can be addressed.
A Special Service Program (SSP), Mazda Service Program (MSP), Customer Service Program (CSP) or other service campaigns may be issued to address vehicle concerns that do not directly affect the safety or emissions performance of the vehicle.
You can check whether your vehicle is affected by a recall or Special Service Program (SSP) by entering your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) into the search tool on this website. The VIN search provides vehicle-specific results, including open and completed recalls and applicable SSPs. At this time, this search tool does not support any other campaign types. For the complete list of service campaigns that apply to your vehicle, please contact your preferred Mazda retailer or contact our Customer Assistance Centre at 1-800-263-4680.
If your VIN search reveals your vehicle is affected, you should contact your preferred Mazda Retailer to schedule an appointment to have your vehicle repaired. If your vehicle has been recalled, please have the repair completed as soon as possible.
Recall repairs are completed at no cost to you. Service campaigns may be completed at no cost to you, depending on the specific campaign and its terms. Any costs associated with a service campaign are clearly identified in the campaign details. If you have questions about whether a campaign that applies to your vehicle involves any cost, please contact our Mazda Customer Assistance Centre at 1-800-263-4680 for assistance.
If your VIN search does not show any recalls or service campaigns, no action is required at this time. You may wish to check again periodically as Mazda is continuously improving vehicle quality and monitoring repair information.
